Price DM template
Copy-ready Instagram DM templates to answer "price?" comments automatically, in English and Hinglish, with a setup guide and mistakes to avoid.
Available free during Early Access. Messaging rules and technical limits apply.
When to use the price dm template
When someone comments "price?" under a Reel, they are close to buying. A good price DM states the number first, says what is included and gives exactly one next step. Use these templates as a starting point and replace the bracketed parts with your own details.
- Your product has a fixed price that you are happy to show in a DM.
- You get the same "price?" or "rate?" comment on most product Reels.
- You want a short price list for a range, not a single number.
Keyword ideas for the trigger (up to 20 per automation):
- PRICE
- PRICES
- RATE
- COST
- KITNE KA

Comment PRICE and I will send the price and details to your DMs.
Say the keyword out loud in the Reel too, and write it exactly as the automation expects it.
Public reply variations
Sent! Check your DMs for the price.
The price is in your inbox now. Check message requests too.
Done! Details are on their way to your DMs.
InboxLoop can rotate up to five public replies so the comments do not all look the same.

Flow used: Comment to DM. InboxLoop is free during Early Access, with unlimited automations.
- Create a Comment to DM automation and select the Reel or post that shows the product.
- Add the keywords people actually type, such as PRICE, RATE and COST. A trigger takes up to 20 keywords.
- Add two or three public reply variations so the comment section does not look copy-pasted.
- Write the DM from the templates above and add up to three link buttons. To show several products at once, use a product carousel with up to 10 cards.
- Preview, publish, and test from a second account before you promote the Reel.
Mistakes to avoid
- Quoting a price that changes often. For items such as gold jewellery, link to a live page instead of fixing a number inside the message.
- Sending a price with no way to act on it. Always add a button to the order or enquiry page.
- Turning on "any comment" so compliments get a price message too. Use keywords.
- Writing a long message. Price, what is included and one button is enough.
Using an official tool does not remove the need to follow Meta's messaging rules. Read our automation safety guide before you publish.
Questions about this template
Should the price be in the DM or in the caption?
If the price is fixed and you are comfortable showing it, a DM keeps the Reel clean and still gets the answer to the person who asked. If the price depends on options, send a price list or a quote form instead.
Can I send prices for several products in one DM?
Yes. A product carousel in InboxLoop holds up to 10 cards, each with an image, title, price and up to three buttons. Prices are text you type, so keep them updated.
Does {first_name} work in the message?
In Comment to DM messages, yes. InboxLoop replaces it with the person's first name. It is not supported in Email Collection messages.
